Yes, finished another book! I'm on a roll!...

Room by Emma Donoghue. 321 pages.

This was a very very interesting book to read. This story was written in the perspective of a 5 year old boy named Jack. To him, "room" is his whole world. He has never been outside and thinks that nothing else really exists beyond the doors of the room except for outer space. He was born in the room and has never been past the walls of the room. His entire life has only been in the room.
To his mother, the room was a prison where she has been help kidnaped for 7 years.
The story of the mothers protective and devoted love to her son is told in a really interesting perspective (of a 5 year old).
As the story went on, I became pretty attached to jack as a character.

A pretty good read and I would give it a pass! : ) ...even though I prefer a littlemmore suspenseful books.
But it's not a story you come by very often. Really unique.

Books?!

YES! I have been reading recently! surprise surprise.

I have finally finished a book a started back in September 2010... I know, Im pathetic. Took me this long to finally find the time to read it.


So the trilogy is called Kissed by an Angel
well actually that is the first book, second book is The Power of Love and third is Soulmates. Yea... I know the titles are really lame... hey! don't judge! It was actually a REALLY good book. The copy I own has all three books in one. But I have to say, all the action happens in Soulmates, but I suggest you read all three books.

So in brief summary, the book is about two teenages that fall in love (yada yada yada) but afterwards they get into a car accident and the boyfriend dies. The thing is, the accident was actually rigged to kill the girl. And as the title says, "angel"... the boy friend comes back as an angel and tries to save his girlfriend from the killer.

So if you're into those kind of romance fictions... then I give this book a thumbs up!
